Biology Lessons

Biology is the study of life—and all life ultimately points back to its Creator. At Wonderfully Made Science, our biology lessons are designed to help students understand the structure, function, and complexity of living systems while recognizing the wisdom, order, and purpose woven into creation.

These lessons are written for families who want strong, accurate science taught within a biblical worldview. We do not treat faith as an add-on or an afterthought. Instead, scientific observation and biblical truth work together, helping students see biology as both a discipline of discovery and an opportunity for wonder.

Exploring Life Through Science and Scripture

How These Biology Lessons Are Designed

Each lesson is created to stand alone and can be used in a variety of settings—homeschool, co-op, small group, or independent study. Lessons are structured to support both students and parents, even if no prior biology background is assumed.

You can expect lessons to include:

  • Clear scientific explanations written at a high school level

  • Guided readings broken into manageable sections with comprehension questions

  • Hands-on or research-based learning activities with student choice

  • Reflection prompts that connect scientific understanding to God’s design

  • Optional Scripture connections that illuminate, rather than interrupt, the science

Our goal is to help students learn how life works while also reflecting on why life is ordered, meaningful, and worth stewarding.

A Note for Parents

These biology lessons are intentionally written to:

  • Encourage curiosity, not fear

  • Promote critical thinking alongside humility

  • Equip students to engage confidently with science in both Christian and secular settings

  • Reinforce that studying life is a way to honor the Creator

Parents are encouraged to read alongside their students, discuss reflection questions together, and allow space for thoughtful questions.
